SOUNDS A and S

We have been working on sounds P and A last week.

We met to 'Snake' and listened to the stories of sounds P and A. Then, we listed some words that we know with these sounds, and finally we also listened to their songs.

La semana pasada trabajamos los sonidos P y A.

Conocimos a 'Snake' y escuchamos las historias de los sonidos P y A. Luego, hicimos una lista de algunas de las palabras que conocemos con estos sonidos y finalmente, escuchamos sus canciones.




Then, we picked up some objects of our 'mystery box' and we classified those items into the correct sound.

To finish the lesson, we played with sounds and words and we coloured our sounds crowns.

Luego, cogimos algunos objetos de nuestra 'caja misteriosa' y clasificamos esos objetos en el sonido correcto.

Para terminar la sesión, jugamos con los sonidos y las palabras y coloreamos nuestras coronas de los sonidos trabajados.









JOAQUÍN SOROLLA PROJECT

This term, we started learning some Sorolla's life facts. After explaining that, we worked on some worksheets and we continued working on some of his famous paintings.

The first one was a self-portrait, and for next week we continued with one of his most famous: "Paseo a orillas del mar" (1909).

Este trimestre empezamos a trabajar algunos aspectos de la vida de Joaquín Sorolla. Después de explicarlo, trabajamos con algunas fichas y seguimos con algunos de sus cuadros más famosos.

El primero fue un autorretrato y a la semana siguiente continuamos con una de sus obras más famosas: "Paseo a orillas del mar" (1909).

Sorolla is known as the 'painter of the sea'.

This Sorolla's self-portrait is the own version of one of our students.




We have made this famous painting, using the stippling technique.




SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY!

Last Wednesday, we celebrated Saint Valentine's day (February, 14th). We learnt some words related to the topic and we played some games.

After that, we took a name of our names bottle and we wrote a positive message to that child. Then, we also made a Valentine (a card) and finally we listened to this song:

El pasado miércoles celebramos el día de San Valentín (el 14 de febrero). Aprendimos algunas palabras relacionadas con el tema y jugamos algunos juegos.

Después, cogimos un nombre de nuestro bote de los nombres y escribimos un mensaje positivo a ese niñ@. Finalmente, también hicimos una tarjeta y escuchamos esta canción.

In unit 3, we have learned the names of some family members: family, baby, mother, father, sister, brother, grandfather and grandmother.

To practice this vocabulary we have been playing a family domino.

In this unit we are learning about animals. We have been learning what animals eat and their names of that classification: herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.

We played with these puzzles to reinforce the learnt content.
